Miss Carol Ann Rowzie received her BA degree from Madison College, Harrisonburg, Va. at commencement exercises held Friday, August 16, 1963. While a student at Madison Miss Rowzie was publicity chairman of the BSU Council and in the BSU choir. She was dorm fire chief, member of the Cotillion Club, Y.W.C.A., Criterion Club (literary). Foreign Film Society and Honor Council. She had stories and poems published in “Chrysalis”, the school literary’magazine, and each spring exhibited drawings, paintings and ceramics in the Student Art Show. Senior Class Night she was in charge of props, publicity, make-up and chorus. Miss Rowzie is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph H. Rowzie of Amissville. She will teach English and art in Warren County this year.
