In Dairy Judging
Howard Clark, a tenth grade
student at Rappahannock County
High School, was awarded
first place individual scorer
in F. F. A. federation dairy judg. * ing competition Saturday. This I was Howard’s first attempt at I judging and he had a score of I 313 out of a possible 350. He 1 is a first year Vo-Ag student, I the son of Mr. and Mrs. Amos I Clark, Washington, Va.
Eighteen boys, representing
six schools from Northern I Triangle and Blue Ridge FedI erations of Future Farmers | of America, competed in dairy | judging on three farms in | Fauquier and Prince William | counties. They judged seven
1 classes of Holstein, Jersey
and Brown Swiss cows and
heifers.
In team judging Rappahan| nock placed fourth. Other team | members were Roy Weakley I and Larry Jolliffe, both oi I Amissville.
