Carl Clark, 16, a ninth grade student at Rappahannock County High School who lives with his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Clark near Washington, Is a patient in the University of Virginia Hospital being treated for tetanus. He is reported to be improving after being critically ill. Feeling ill last Wednesday he was taken to the Warren Memorial Hospital and removed to the University of Virginia Hospital on Saturday It was learned that Carl had received a cut from a baseball cleat while playing ball at the school the Friday before which was not considered serious at the time. However, this is now alleged to be the cause of the tetanus infection. At the John H. Williams farm open drainage will be seen, then all will return to the packing house.
