Mr. and Mrs. Richard Kenzil Goode of Goode Acres, Apple Pie Ridge, Winchester Virginia announce the engagement of their daughter, Harriet Ann, to Bobby Lee Smith, son of Mr. and Mrs. Asa W. Smith also of Winchester.
Miss Good attended Marion College, Marion, and received her B.S. degree from Madison College, Harrisonburg. She is presently serving as home demonstration agent for Rappahannock County. Mr. Smith is attending Strayer College of Finance in Washington, D.C. A July wedding is planned.

Richard Burnette Bordeaux of Washington, D. C. was a dinner guest Sunday of hfs brother-in-law and sister, Mr and Mrs. George Beebe. Mrs. E. L. Roberts and daugh. ter of Arlington spent Monday night with Mr. and Mrs. C. D. Scott. Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Hitt and family were guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Pete Settle in Manassas. They were accompanied by Mrs. O. T. Deal. Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Groover and son John attended the White Sox-Senators ball game in Washington Sunday in celebration of John’s ninth birthday. In the evening the Groover family was entertained at dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Steketee in Falls Church. Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Woodward, Jr. and Mrs. J. T. Woodward, Sr. visited M. Frankie Heyl who is a patient in Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal.
