ASC Farm Tour
A special invitation is extended citizens of the area to attend the Rappahannock ASC Farm Tour Friday May 22 beginning at 1 p.m. The tour is held so results of conservation practices may be observed in reality. Anyone wishing to make the tour may meet at l p.m. at Flat Woods packing house. The schedule includes a first stop at the H. L. Manwaring farm, where establishing and improving permanent cover, contour strips and tile drainage will be featured. Gen. Daniel Noce’s farm is second on the agenda. Here also will be seen establishing and improving permanent cover, forest establishment.
