Mr. and Mrs. C. G. Reid Jr. of New York were guests from Friday until Monday of Mr. Reid’s mother, Mrs. C. G. Reid at Rose Cottage. Week-end guests of Judge and Mrs. B. M. Miller were Mrs. Mark Johnson and two children Lisa and Eric of Luray. Mrs. Wade Massie, Jr., Mrs. Bertie Lib Moffett, Miss Annie Cooksey, Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Campbell and Mr. and Mrs. J. William Smith of Culpeper were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Wood in Sperryville. Miss Mary Miller Wood and Miss Alice Wood attended May Day exercises Sunday at the Virginia School for the Deaf and Blind at Staunton. They also called on the Rev. and John Divers in Waynesboro. Miss Alice Wood, a student at Katherine Gibbs School in New York and Mr. and Mrs. Quentin McCoy of Arlington spent the weekend at their home Sunny Side. Mrs. Ferdinand B, Jacobsen of Tampa, Fla. arrived Saturday at the home of her brotherin-law and sister Mr. and Mrs Henry M. Keyser for a visit. Mr. and Mrs. W.G.Eastham were hosts Sunday at their home Red Hill Farm for a Eastham family picnic. Guests on Sunday of Mrs. J. W.
