Dinner Meeting

The Rural Letter Carriers Association and Ladies Auxiliary of Culpeper, Madison, Orange and Rappahannock counties held their annual business meeting and banquet on May 15 in the V. F. W. hall at Gordonsville. Speakers for the ■. evening were Henry Horton from the Delivery Service Department of Washington Regional office and Ray Shiffett president of Virginia Rural Letter Carriers Association* Officers elected for the coming year are: president, Henry Fitzhugh, Gordonsville; vice president, Billy Camper, Unionville; secretary-treasurer, Ch'arlie Compton Amissville. Delegates were elected to attend the state convention to be held at Mountain Lake, Va. in July. They are: Jerry D. Schweikert, Orange; Charlie Compton, Amissville; Henry Fitzhugh, Gordonsville; Edward Brown, Sperryville; Billy Camper, Unionville; Tom Willoughby, Rapldan; and * Pete Norris, Culpeper. Named as alternates were Allen Ellet and L. A. Kibler, Rixeyville and Billy Pierce and E. E. Eppright, Culpeper.
