Happy Golden of Silver Spring, Md. spent last week with Mr. and Mrs. B. James VIoss and enjoyed hunting. Guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Tharp were Mr. md Mrs. Melvin Williams, Washington, Va., Mr. and Mrs John Tharp and children, Debbie and Mark of Manassas Lawrence Horner, Fairfax Mr. and Mrs. Haywood Wharton, William Tharp and Jimmy McFarland, Amissville. Mr. and Mrs. Pete Settle of Manassas were Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Hitt. Tuesday, Mrs. Richard Gore and Mrs. Ben Mallory and children, Stevie and Wanda visited Mrs. Hitt. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Gore, Debbie and Linda Gore of Alexandria, spent the weekend at their home here. They attended the supper at Gourdvine Church.

Roger Hitt, son of Mr. and Mr6. R, E. Hitt, returned to his home Sunday after being a patient for two weeks in Culpeper Memorial Hospital with an appendectomy. Mrs. Neva Bywaters returned to her home Thursday from Winchester Memorial Hospital and is recovering very well. Mrs. James Smith and granddaughter, Kathy Dunn, of Wash ington, D. C. arrived Sunday to spend a week with Mr. and Mrs. T. W. Latham.
