Bradford* s House,
Car Wrecked
The M. R. Bradford family of Flint Hill had a rude awaken ing early Saturday morning when their own automobile came crashing into their house incurring extensive damage to both the house and auto. It all began when a 1955 Pontiac' operated by Irving Ford of Front Royal heading south on Route 522 sideswiped a 61 Chevrolet owned by Mrs. Thelma Russell which was parked on the street near the I Bradford home. The Pontiac then crashed
| into the rear of the Bradford i vehicle, a 63 Plymouth, which I was parked near the Bradford home also, and knocked the Bradford car on the porch of j their home. In so doing, two porch p o s t s were he a v e d througha window, taking sash, glass and other debris and de positing it in the living room, of the Bradford home. Plaster cracked, a marble top table was broken, an antique pitcher smashed, to mention a few things.
The Pontiac, a total loss, | came to an abrupt halt nearby The driver sustained lacera tions of the chin and several teeth were loosened. He was charged with reckless driving according to Trooper Paul P. Dicks, who investigated the ac cident.
