on Route-729 Saturday at 6:30 p.,m. when Mrs. Loralne Mallory of Castleton, driving a 59. Chevrolet convertible, was struck in the rear by A1 bert Compton, also of Castle ton. The Mallory car was stopp lng with lights and signal on, according to Trooper Buntin, when the Compton vehicle, a 53 Chevrolet, struck it. Mrs. Mallory was taken to Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal, with possible leg injuries, but was treated and released. Compton was also treated and released at Warren Memorial Hospital. Damage to the Mallory vehicle was estimated at $500 and to the Compton vehicle at $300 said Mr. Buntin.
