Heading the snow making department is Edward Clark, Washington, who is spending several days this week at Ski Roundtop near York, Pa. to round off his education in the art of snow making. The general operations fore man is Herbert (Humpy) Smoot, Washington who will be kept quite busy seeing to the overall operation of the slopes, lifts, etc., and Sears Raymond, Sperryville, who conducts and directs the ski school, is fit as a fiddle again after sustaining a neck injury last year when a scaffold fell on him. George H. Davis, III will oversee the lodging accommodations. The former Hickman home in the hollow has been purchased by the ski area and will be used for lodging accommodations as Rus River Lodge.
