Traffic Mishaps
Three traffic mishaps have been reported by Trooper Paul P. Dicks; one last Wednesday one Friday and the third on Saturday. At 12;45 p.m. on December 2, two miles north of Flint Hill on Route 522, William Richard Hawkins of Washington, Va. struck and killed a deer which jumped into the path of his car. Hawkins was heading south in his 1958 Ford when the 9-point buck bounded into the road. Damage to Ithe vehicle was estimated at $200. Hawkins was not injured
