nomas Allen Zettler of Fort Meyers and Huntsville, Ala. .lost control of his 62 Chevrolet :°n Route 211 five miles east .of Washington on December 4 and struck a bank. Zettler told j-Trooper Dicks an unidentified [vehicle forced him off the road ;as he was driving west. The par veered across the highway and struck the left bank. Marion Ruth Mixon of Washington, D. C., a passenger; sustained lacerations of the chin and left side of head and the driver received multiple abrasions of the head. Two babies in the vehicle were uninjured. The victim s were taken to Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton, by Rappahannock Rescue Squad. During a downpour of rain December 5, James C. NichoF son of Sperryville going north on Route 211 a mile and seven tenths south of Washington was struck by an unknown passing vehicle. The driver failed to Stop. The accident occurred about 9:45 p.m. Damage to Nicholson’s 54 Pontiac was estimated at $75. There were no injuries.
