Three who had attended all meetings were Mrs. Stanish Riley, Mrs Stanley Settle and Mrs. Charlie Priest. Achievement Day held in November was well attended and an excellent display exhibited. i She thanked the club for its cooperation and efforts during her tenure of office. Mrs. Stanish Riley was introduced as the incoming president, and she suggested a rising vote of thanks to Mrs. Bowey for her leadership. Year books were distributed and programs discussed, after which Christmas carols were sung and gifts exchanged. Mrs. Harriet Goode Smith, former H.D. Agent here, was a guest at the dinner meeting. Mrs. Smith is now assistant agent in Fairfax County.
