The School Improvement Committee of the Washington Elementary School, P.T.A. is pleased to report that new Venetian blinds have been in stalled at all windows in the school auditorium. For this major improvement the faculty and children of the school are very grateful. The sale of stationery as an SCA was a success due to the support of our patrons and friends. The children in the rooms worked hard to sell the paper. Gail Updike andRae Rector were the two leading salegirls. The school has been enjoying monthly assembly programs. These programs are presented by the different rooms of the school. Our next assembly program will be concerned with the Spirit of Christmas on Dec. 18 at 9:30 (barring bad weather). On our weekly attendance contest report for the week of Nov. 30 thru Dec. 4, Mn iHabel’s fifth grade had the | highest attendance percentage with average of 97.45% j We are sorry to report that our total school average dropp |ed to 94.47%. The following is a list of names of children who have not been absent through the last two advisories ending Nov. 24, 1964.
