Heigh-Ho, come to the carnival, This invitation is extended by Amissville firemen who opened their annual four-night fund raising festival at the carnival grounds there last night. It will continue through Saturday night August 14. A display of brilliant fireworks enticed many viewers out last night and many more are expected tonight, Thursday, for the parade scheduled for 7 p.m. Kntries received for the parade are marching units, fire and rescue equipment, bands, majorette groups, and a number of local floats. A plate supper will be available on the grounds after the parade, in addition to the usual fare found at a carnival food stand.
