Mrs. Harold Glascock of Culpeper accompanied her sister Mrs. Herbert Hash and son Happy and daughter Reva Clare to Luray on Wednesday of last week where they saw the "Waynesboro Generals" of the Valley League play Luray. Mrs. Hash’s son Randolph played on the Waynesboro team. Miss Patricia Ward and her brother Jack Ward returned home Monday evening after spending a week in Chattanooga, Tenn. where they attended the “Word of Truth Assembly" of the Jehovah’s Witnesses. Stork Shower
The Misses Mattie Williams and Annie Frazier entertained at a Stork Shower recently at the Chester Gap Fire Hall in honor of Mrs. Judy Williams. Others present were Lucy Williams, Minnie Williams, Annie Walters, Mary Helen Williams, Sharon Lucas, Carol Woodward, Gladys Woodward, Millie Jenkins, Mary Frazier, Mary Williams, Edna Williams and Mrs Ralph Rasberry.
