The Shiloh. Association of Baptist Churches held it's 171st annual session at Slate Mills Baptist Church Wednesday and Thursday, August 4 and 5. Registration Wednesday showed 257 attending with 146 registered Thursday.

has a summer position at Skyland Resort in the Shenandoah National Park spent Wednesday and Thursday with Mr. and Mrs. J. Rodes Brown. Mrs. J. B. Johnson and her daughter, Mrs. Fred Schaefer motored to Madison County to join a supper party given by Mrs. Gordon P ayne and to meet Miss Nancy Keen, a house guest of Mrs. Payne. Miss Keen was a school mate of Mrs. Payne’s at Strayers College in Washington, D. C. and presently is living in New York. During the school days she frequently visited in the Johnson home. Mrs. J. Harvey Daily continues a patient in Winchester Memorial Hospital where she ‘is receiving treatment. For the benefit of those who wish to write her the room number is 354.
