4-H Club Doings
County 4-H camp is next week, with eighteen 4-H boys and fourteen girls planning to attend. The 4-H camp is located in Powell’s Fort Valley in Shenandoah County. About 160 club members from Frederick, Warren, and Rappahan nock will spend the week striving to live up to the 4-H Motto “To Make the Best Better”.
Boys and girls will meet at the County Agent’s Office on Monday at 12;30 and go by cars to camp. Thefirsteveningwill be devoted to election of camp officers and a get acquainted party. Monday through Friday morn ing will be classes in junior leadership, handicrafts, swim ming, archery, outdoor cookery, safety, wildlife, photography,,and ga mb., leader. '£hip. F.ach afternoon the 4-H’ers will plan for evening events, then participate in soft ball, volley ball, box hocky, horse shoes, ping pong or free swimming.
