Charles William Menefee
Charles William Menefee, 72 of Boston died Saturday, August 7, 1965 at his residence, following a long period of declining health. Son of the late Newton Benjamin Menefee and th^ late Martha Ann Baker Menefee, he was a native of Rappahannock County. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Missouri Florence Clark Menefee; three sons, Isaac Menefee, Laney Menefee and Elbert Menefee, all of Boston; two daughters, Miss Ella Mae Menefee of Boston and Mrs. Milton Peyton of Culpeper; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; one brother, Dan Menefee ofWoodville; and one sister, Mrs. Susie Martin-of Culpeper. A funeral service was held Tuesday, August 10, at Geest Funeral Chapel, Culpeper, with burial in Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Cary Thornhill, Jesse Hawkins, George Butler, Hal Hawkins, Wallace Hawkins, Moffett Cloud, Clyde Courtney, and Clarence Johnson.
