The Reverend Arnold Sorrells has resigned as pastor of the Flint Hill and Washington Baptist Churches, effecI tive September 30, 1965. j Mr. Sorrells received his I Bachelor of Arts from Oklahoma Baptist University ir Shawnee, Oklahoma where he majored in Psychology anc minored in French. While a student there he was on the Deans and Presidents honor rolls. Upon graduation, as one of the top five ministerial students entering Seminary, he received the Centennial Scholarship Award from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. He received his Bachelor of Divinity from Southern Seminary in 1963, having main tained a B plus average even though at times he was employed in secular work 60 hours a week. He was employ ed in a variety of jobs through out his education; Tube tester, campus maintenance, switchboard operator, grainery work Y. M. C. A. counselor, and counselor at a Home for Juvenile Delinquents. Mr. Sorrells may accept a position with the Home Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention,
