From Thialand
The Rev. and Mrs. Cecil Carder and children Jonita, Cecil, Jr., and Jeanette returned home September 2 from Bangkok, Thailand. They are visiting Mrs. Carder’s mother Mrs. Joe Hawkins, Sr. and later will take an apartment in Culpeper. The children are attending schools in Culpeper. The Carders who are Baptist Missionaries are on a year's furlough and report they are getting used to the fast pace of American life and enjoying renewing old friendships.
Mr*. Bradford Accepts Bank Position
Mrs. M. R. Bradford, Jr. assumed a position Monday as an employee of the Citizens National Bank in Flint Hill. She replaced Mrs. B. J. Wood who has accepted a secretarial position with J. S. Cooley, Inc. in Front Royal.
Bee Sting Victim Hospitalized
Walter Latham of Viewtown is recovering at his home now after being hospitalized last week from bumble bee stings. He got in the bee’s nest Thurs day while working at the farm of his sister, Mrs. G. K. Doyle at Amissville. From the numerous stings he became violently ill and was rushedto Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton where he remained overnight,
| returning home Friday.
