Miss Linda Lou Ramsey of Front Royal, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. O. C. Ramsey became the bride of Donald Wayne Dodson of Arlington, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Dodson of Sperryville on Sat urday afternoon September 11, at 2 p.m. at the Front Royal Church of the Brethren. The Rev. Ronald Madeira per formed the double ring ceremony before a setting of white mums and palms. Miss Nancy Woodward organist played tra ditional wedding music. The bride given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of white satin and Chantilly lace with long tapered sleeves ending in points over the hands. Her veil of 6ilk illusion fell from a pearl tiara. She carried a prayer book overlaid with a white orchid. Miss Betty Ramsey was maid of honor for her sister. She wore a pink peau de soie dress

Downing Williams and Bradley Williams spent last Tuesday in Charlottesville. Mr. and Mrs. Ermand Morris visited the former’s parents Mr. and Mrs. Prentiss Morris in Waldorf, Md. on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Williams and family were Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Ivory Atkins in Flint Hill. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Leake and daughter Terry of Culpeper spent Saturday night with Mr. and Mrs. Bradley Williams. On Sunday the Leakes and Williams’ spent the day in Petersburg. Mrs. Minnie Williams and Mrs. Pearl Mills held a birthday dinner for their mother Mrs. Ada North at the fire hall Sunday, Sept. 12. Approximately 25 members of the family and friends were present.
