George Jackson of Falls Church and Wayne Trimble of Alexandria were Tuesday guests of Mr. and Mrs. George W. Tidier. Their houseguest Miss Jerry Allen of Bayonne, N. J. left Saturday to visit Mr. and Mrs. S. W. earner in Culpeper. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Jenkins of Front Royal were weekend guests of Mr. Jenkins' brother-in-law and sister Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Gaines. The Jenkins’ son Bill spent the week-end visiting his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Dick Jenkins. Guests last Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Olney Kennedy were Mr. and Mrs. Waver Kennedy and son Charles of Slate Mills, Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie Minnis and son Chris of Culpeper, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Kennedy and Miss Betty Kennedy of Alexandria, John Coates of Culpeper, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Alford and son Wayne of Novum. This Sunday their guests were Mr. and Mrs.Gid Fincham and son Don, Mrs. Eddie Tharpe and granddaughter of Culpeper. In the afternoon the Kennedys and guests visited Will Fincham at the home of his daughter Mrs. Lottie Clatterbuck at Haywood.

Thornhill were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Summers and twin daughters Sharon and Sandra of Alexandria. * Miss Carol Cobert returned home from her employment in Ocean City, Md. September 7 for a week’s visit with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Arthur T. Cobert before returning to Mary Washington College for her senior year September 14.
