Mrs. Mlby entertains Local Bridge Club

Mrs. I. R. Kilby entertained at two tables of Bridge on ; Friday evening at her home in town. Those playing were , Mrs. R. E. Wood. Mrs. G. Brown Miller, Mrs. Mary Botts Quaintance, Mrs. R. E. Thompsen, Mrs. Roy Reeve, Mrs. T. J. Pillar and Mrs. W. H. Cordle. Prizes were presented to Mrs. Wood, Mrs. Cordle and Mrs. Quaintance. the week-end at the Johnsons and Brooke returned home with them Sunday evening. Sunday September 5 saw the Weaver family gathered at Banco for a reunion. The Weavers from this area include Audie Weaver and sons Jack and Curtis Lee and Mrs. Curtis Lee Weaver of Slate Mills, Mr. and Mrs. Virginius Weaver and son Douglas of Boston. Others included Mr. and Mrs. 1 Frank Mitchell and two chil. dren of Culpeper, Mr. and ' Mrs. Gilbert Pullen and five children of Waynesboro and Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Birkett and four sons of Oxen Hill, Md.

The family met with about 40 other members at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Otis Weaver.
