Guests for the weekend of the Rev. and Mrs. Charles Kindred and family were the Rev. and Mrs. Charles Jones and son Edward of Hampton. Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Doyle accompanied by the Rev. and Mrs. James Harrison and son Clarke of Jeffersonton spent last Wednesday and Thursday in New York and attended the World’s Fair. Mrs. F. L. Bowey entertained the Falls Church H. D. Club at her home here Monday. There were eleven members present. Additional guests were Mrs. J. F. Walter and Mrs. Stanish Riley. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Heflin and children and Mrs. W. W. Walter of The Plains were vis itors Monday of Mrs-. Frank Walter and Mr. and Mrs. S. D. Hutton. Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Zinn were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Zinn and children of Culpeper. Mr. and Mrs. James Sealock and baby of Falls Church were guests from Saturday until Tuesday of Mr, and Mrs% Jofinie Hackley. Mrs. C. M. M. Green, who has been spending some time in McLean, spent the weekend at her home here. She returned to McLean Sunday afternoon accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell Green and children Melody and C. M. Green, i Miss Nancy Latham was a j dinner guest Sunday of Mr. and ! Mrs. Herman Kephart in Herndon. She also visited her grandmother Mrs. C. C. Cockerill and Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Peck and Mrs. John Peck. Nancy left Tuesday for Berea College Berea, Ky. Mr. and Mrs. Maddox Tapp returned home yesterday after an eight day vacation trip tour ing Florida.
Wendall Latham, who has a teaching position in Caroline County, spent the weekend with his grandmother, Mrs. A. C. Latham. The Rev. and Mrs. Harold Carder and daughters of Fredericksburg were overnight guests Friday of Mrs. Latham.
