Scrabble School 4-H Club Meets
The Scrabble School 4-H Club was organized by County Agent W. H. Lyne and Miss Doris E. Daugherty on October 15, 1965. The following officers were elected: President, Joann Aylor; Vice-President, Frankie Thompson; Secretary-Treasurer, Thomas Wig. ington; reporter, Robert Daniels; Song Leader, Lucy Jackson.
We have 10 boys and 10 girls. We will meet on the third Friday of each month. I think the 4-H club is going to be enjoyed at Scrabble.

October Celebration In Scrabble School
From the 3rd to the 15th the following things have been celebrated in Scrabble School: Fire prevention. Newspaper Week with eleven different newspapers on display: The Rappahannock News, Culpeper Star-Exponent, Orange Review, Madison County Eagle, Richmond Times Dispatch, Fauquier D e m oc r a t, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, Courier-Tribune (a N. C. paper), Reader's Digest and Head, Heart, Hands and Health. The papers were interesting to us. Also World Poetry Day was noted on Friday with each pupil reading a favorite poem.
