I enjoyed visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Elwood Dean recent ly when they held open house at their home "Elva Acres" near Amissville. They have done a marvelous restoration on the house. You’d have to see it to believe it. And to enable us to do that, they had "before" pictures hung in each room — a clever idea. The expression "It’s a small world* is trite, but it really is. In conversation with Mrs. Dean, I discovered she was a sister to one of my high school teachers in Herndon many years ago. (I won’t say how many).
