Ham-Turkey Supper At Jeffer*onton

Oak Shade Methodist Church will serve a Ham and Turkey Supper at The Community Cert ter in Jeffersonton, Va. on Saturday, Oct. 23, 1965 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. FIST. The menu consists of a generous portion of both meats, baby lima beans, baked potato, salad, homemade pie, rolls, butter and beverage.

Adults $1.50, children 75C.

Army Pvt. Charles W. Jenkins, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ennis S. Jenkins, Route 1, Box 67, Sperryville, was assigned to the 517thArtillery’s 5th Missile Battalion, a NikeHercules missile unit at Dyess Air Force Base, Tex., Oct. 5. This unit, part of the nationwide U.S. Army Air Defense command, provides air defense in the Abilene, Tex., area. Jenkins entered the Army in May 1965 and received basic training at Fort Jackson, S.C. He was last stationed at Fort Gordon, Ga.
