In certain types of violation by those driving cars the car can be confiscated. Why not trucks also? It would appear that one cause of flaunting the law could be the fact that we employ only two officers to cover the entire County, of some 600 square miles. We should have at least four men. If the State will not or cannot supply them it would not mean any unbearable hardship in the tax burden if the County assumed the costs of such additional protection. Surely the time is long past when the matter of highway killings can be kicked under the rug and forgotten.
