Chester Gap
Henry C. Cameron entered the Newton D. Baker hospital in Martinsburg last Tuesday for treatment. Mrs. Maybelle Gilkey spent last Wednesday at Seven Corners.
The steeple was put on the Chester Gap Baptist Mission last week and is very attractive.
Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Sibprt, Ray and Patty Sibert and Ray and Joe Priest were Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Hubie Gilkey. Mrs. LaMerle Williams visited Mrs. Thomas Leake and daughter in Culpeper last Tuesday. On Saturday Mrs. LaMerle Williams and Mrs. Evelyn Mills spent the day in Richmond and attended the Methodist Bishops Convocation on Christian Responsibility which was held at the Parker Field Arena. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Leake and daughter of Culpeper visited Bradley Williams Saturday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Smiti of the Strasburg Road were visitors Thursday afternoor of Mrs. “Pet" Smith.
