Mrs. Mnnro Wins

Colt in Home Contest

Mrs. Betty Munro of Castleton has been adjudged the winner of a nationwide contest sponsored by the Kentucky Club Tobacco Co. to select a name for a 3-year-old colt. The name selected by Mrs. Munro was Eastward Flight. The sire and dam of the colt are Globemaster and Orienne respectively.

The grand prize in the contest is the colt, Eastward Flight, which was presented Mrs. Munro Friday at Churchill Downs, plus $1,000 and a trip for two the past weekend to the Kentucky Derby in Louis ville.

Mrs. Munro with her husband, R. Martin Munro, a commercial officer in the British Embassy in Washington, have until July to decide whether they will take the colt to their 750-acre farm at Castleton, or sell it. They have four quarterhorses on the farm at present, but the major operation on the farm is raising feeder calves.
