Driver Charged in
One-Car Crash
A single-car crash occurred Saturday evening at 8 p.m. on Route 522 a mile north of Huntly. A 1960 Oldgmobile owned and operated by Lewis Francis Clark of Flint Hill was damaged to the extent of $500 and the operator charged with reckless driving. According to Trooper W. A. Buntin, the Clark vehicle ran off the right of the road, went out of control, veered back across the highway, struck the left bank and overturned.
Clark sustained abrasions of the right arm, nose and chin. A passenger in the car, George Johnston, was taken to Warren Memorial Hospital by Front Royal Rescue Squad where he was treated for abrasions of the forehead and nose and released.
