Mrs. Paul St. Clair remains a patient in Fauquier Hospital with injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Her daughter, Paula, is also a patient there after undergoing an appendectomy Monday. During her mother’s illness Jeanne St. Clair is staying with Mr. and Mrs. John H. Williams while Mr. St. Clair visits his family. The Amissville Ladies Auxiliary held its regular May meeting Tuesday night at the fire house with eleven members present.

Guests for dinner Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Baldwin were Mr. and Mrs. Walter Ney and children Diane and Janet of Hyattsville, Md., Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hackley and daughter Angie of Fairfax and Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Hackley. Mrs. Nannie Weaver has returned to her home in Culpeper after undergoing surgery in Fauquier Hospital. Mrs. Sarah Latham and daughter Susan were dinner guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Peck and family in Herndon. Mrs. Latham’s mother, Mrs. C. C. Cockerill was also a dinner guest of the Pecks. Mrs. C. M. M. Green spent a week visiting I. F. Sand
