Norton, Superintendent of Schools, said bids for the construction of the addition to the local high school will be open May 26 at 2 p.m. at the school. . He also requested approval, of an educational project to be conducted under Title I of the Aid to Education Act. This program will be conducted during the summer of 1966 and will involve certain sixth, seventh, eighth and ninth grade students in a vocational program for both boys and girls. The program is financed entirely with federal funds, with the cost not to exceed $46,000 which includes salaries, equipment, supplies, travel and operation of buildings. Approval was granted. P. B. Coldiron, Location and Design Engineer for the Department of Highways, advised by letter that a restudy on the location of arterial highway 211 from Ginger Hill to Sperryville was being made. This is to determine the road location as it passes Rappahannock County High School. The Board made a resolution for a comprehensive plan for orderly development of community water and sewage facilities for the whole county with the Planning Commission to supervise and coordinate such a plan with the assistance of an F.H.A. grant.
