This past two weeks eighty people have been engaged in learning from each other in a consolidated Vacation Bible School. The Methodist Churches of Flint Hill, Washington, and Sperryville together with the Baptist Churches of Flint Hill and Washington, and the Episcopal Church, combined their efforts to operate a two-week Vacation Bible School in the buildings of the Washington Baptist Church. Children from 4 years old through the 6th grade were eligible. For those who needed transportation it was either arranged for, or provided by Miss Annie Cooksey, or Miss Mary Miller Wood. A class of 4-5 year olds was taught by Mrs. Lois Snead, assisted by Miss Nancy Lilia rd and Miss Amy Palmer. A 6-year-old class was taught by Miss Annie Miller Almond, assisted by Mrs. Mary Styer.
