Vehicle Crashes on Sharp Curve in Town

A vehicle traveling west on Route 211 faUedUp the curve in froht of Merrill Motor Co. in Washington early Wednesday morning and crash1 ed into a parked vehicle. According to Trooper W. A. Buntin, Tonie Luco Saunders of Rocky Gap, Va., operating a 1959 Ford failed to make the curve and skidded into a 58 Dodge owned by Mr. Merrill. The Dodge was pushed into a building owned by the Paul Walkersand smashed two win dows in the structure. The driver of the car was not in jured. Damage to the Saunders car was estimated at $200 and to the Merrill vehicle $200. Damage to the building was estimated at $150. Saunders was charged with reckless driving.
