Jones continuing as clerk. Hospital contracts were approved with the University of Virginia and Medical College ' of Virginia at $33.15 per pati ent day. It was announced by the Virginia Department of Highways ' that the by-pass of the Town jof Washington would be a limit ed accessroad with accesses at each end of the town and Route 626. i The Board proposed to levy a tax on utilities which in this county includes phone and electricity. The tax would be 5% on the first $10. A public hearing on adding the tax is scheduled for the August meet ing of the Board and will be advertised prior to the meeting.
