S. N. Louis Miller who is stationed on the u. S. S. Kitty Wake at Norfolk spent the week-end with his parents Mr. and Mrs. Paul Miller. His ship leaves Thursday for the Mediterranean area for duty there until November. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Roberson and son Ray of Hopkinsville, Ky. were guests from Friday until Monday of Mrs. Roberson's parents Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Cook. The Rev. andMrs. M. C. Cook of Berryville were Sunday callers. Pvt. Charlie Smith arrived over the week-end from Ft. Gordon, Ga. and will spend a leave until the 20th with his mother Mrs. G. W. Smith, Jr., after which he will report at Ft. Dix, N. J. Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Foster were Sunday diners at the Congress Inn in Front Royal. Frank W. Spalding was taken to Warren Memorial Hospital in Front Royal on Sunday following a sudden illness at his home. Mr. and Mrs. John S.
