> Veteran Legislator A. Willis Robertson, 79, of Lexington, has served in Congress since 1932 and in the U. S. Senate since 1946, when he was appointed to fill a vacancy creat ed by the death of Sen. Carter <Glass. He was elected to his first full six-year term in 1948 and in the Primary on Tuesday July 12, hopes that Democratic; voters will nominate him fori a fourth. His opponent is State Senator William B. Spong, jr. of Portsmouth.
