Demonstration May 9
Mr. A. S. Beecher, Extension Horticulturist V.P. I., will be in Rappahannock county on Tuesday, May 9, to give rwo demonstrations on the “Care and Pruning of Plants on the Home Grounds". This event is sponsored by the County Home Demonstration Clubs but everyone interested is urged to attend. The first session will be held in Flint Hill at Mrs. Mary Cleverley’s beginning at 10:30 a.m. The afternoon session will be with Mrs. C. B. Johnson at WoodVllle at 1:30 p.m. Two sessions are being held in hope that more people will take advantage of Mr. Beecher’^ talents and knowledge of the subject. Bring along your questions or problems on home grounds beautification and he’ll be glad to answer them.
Garden Club Flower Show Set for June
The Rappahannock Garden Club is planning a flower show for early June, to be held in Sperryville. It promises to be a challenging presentation. It is hoped that all flower growers in the locale will perk up their stock and join in the exhibition. Committee ! chairmen are: Mrs. W. C. ' Hall. Hospitality, Mrs. L. J.
