On Tuesday, May 2 Mrs. H. B. Woodard and four Future Homemakers of America, Frances Tharp, Kaye Cubbage, Gloria Dodson and Charlotte Foster attended a planning meeting at Clarke County At the meeting the delegates nominated candidates for the 1967-b8 F.H.A. district officers.
Last week it was reported that Mrs. Fisher Eastham Burford was graduated from the College of William and Mary. Correction: she attended William and Mary for two years and Mary Washington College for wo years where she received her B.S. degree.
This week’s teacher’s profile is that of Mr. B. Gale Titchenell. Mr. Titchenell was born in Chicago, Illinois. He attended Georgetown College, Georgetown, Kentucky from which he received his A.B. degree; Madison College, Harrisonburg, from which he received his M.5. degree; and Crozer Theological Seminary Chester, Pennsylvania from which he received his B.D. degree. While in college Mr. Titchenell was a member of the Lambda Xi Alpha Fraternity and the Mask Rafters, a dramatics club. At R.C.H.S. he teaches Latin, American History and World History. Mr. Titchenell and his wife Blondina Moran have four children, Leslie, 19; Mike, 18; Robert, 11; and Sue, 8. They reside in Woodville, where he serves as pastor of the Baptist Church. Mr. Titche nell’s interests include gardening, woodwork, Boy Scouts and Church.
