Amissville H.D. Club Makes Pillows
Twenty-two women met Mon. day evening for the May meeting of the Amissville Home Demonstration Club meeting. Demonstrations were given on making wash cloth pillows and smocked pillows. Plans were discussed for a series of workshops on furniture re-upholstering and when finalized dates will be announced.
Mrs. Noel Laing was re-i ceived into the group as a new i member. Hostesses for the' meeting were Mrs. H. R. Ter-! hune and Mrs. Aubrey Curtis.
Revival Service*
The Rev. Charles P. Palmore. pastor of the Church of God of Prophecy in Front Royal and Nokesville, is holding a revival in Sperryville. The meeting began Monday and is held irrthe old Episcopal Church at 8p.m. eachevening. There is special music and singing, and the public is invited. The Rev. Jersey Bell palmore is assisting. Sunday School will be held on Sundays at 3 p.m. with classes for all ages. Pete Atkins of Fredericksburg is Superintendent of the Sunday School. Teachers are Franklin Elliott, Bertha A. Williams and Jersey B. Palmore.
