Mrs. A. C. Latham was a dinner guest Sunday of Mr. anc Mrs. T. C. Barron at View town. Other guests were Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Latham of Fredericksburg. A family picnic with more than 40 attending was held Sun day at the home of Mrs. Odes sa Ficklin. Among those pres ent were Miss Phoebe Green of Williamsburg, Mr. .and Mrs Morrison Green, Warrenton Mrs. Lucy Mae Cooley of Bethesda, Md. Other guests were family and friends from many areas with the youngest a 7-month old youngster from Charlottesville. The senior guest was Miss Mary Lot Kines, who is 89. Those attending the Sue Slaughter Baptist Group meet ing Thursday in Washington, Va. were Mrs. A. C. Latham, Mrs. J. L. Walter, Mrs. Charlie Priest, Mrs. Norvel James and Mrs. Aubrey Curtis.
Mrs. Annie Latham and Mrs Ethel Cooksey were dinner guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs Elmer Jenkins.
