Last week marked the beginning of the final six weeks of school. Teachers began to pile on extra projects and students began to gripe about them. If all goes well these gripers and projects should be over just in time for the students and teachers to start up a whole new set of them for exams. The dates for examinations are May 30, 31 and June 1.
Thursday, Mrs. Leslie Fox Keyser of Front Royal gave a talk and poetry reading to Mrs. Kilby’s fifth period Junior English class. Mrs. Keyser read a group of selections by American poets from the students Literature textbook. Saturday, April 29 the R.C. H.S. cheerleaders held a bake sale in front of Bradford’s Store at Flint Hill to raise money to help finish paying for their blazers and blouses. The girls made about $28.
