Mr. and Mrs. William Wharton of Arlington were guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Compton.
Mrs. Elinor Davis and two children of Chapel Hill, N. C. spent last week with her mother Mrs. Russell Hackley and Mr. Hackley. Mrs. Hackley and Mrs. Davis spent several days this week at Fort Campbell, Ky. where they visited Sherman Davis who is stationed there. Mr. and Mrs. David Hoadley of Arlington were guests Wednesday evening of Mrs. Sarah Latham and family. Din ner guests Thursday evening of Mrs. Latham were Trooper R. M. Dodson of Luray, Trooper J. B. Willis, Sheriff Charles K. Estes and Deputy John Walker Jenkins of Sperryville, Mr. and Mrs. James Powell, Herndon, Mr. and Mrs Irvin Kenyon and son Craig, Slate Mills, Mrs. David Streagle and children Shannon and Marc, Washington, ^a. and Billy Payne. Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Kephart and Mrs. C. C. Cockerill of Herndon were Saturday eve ning guests of Mrs. Sarah Latham and family. Mrs. Cockerill remained over night and returned home Sunday with Mi; and Mrs. James Powell who were also accompanied home by their daughter Beverly, a house guest last weekof Susan Latham.
