I The program of the Amissville Ruritan Club, as presented at their regular month ly dinner meeting last Wednes
day, is one of increased vi- ' sion, crackling with new ideas for the benefit of the community and county. The business meeting following the de- 1 licious dinner served by Amissvllle Ladies Auxiliary was conducted by the club's new president, R. B. Settle. Other new officers are Gilbert Lawrence, vice president; Farrell Nicholas, trea surer and 11. R. Terhune, secretary. James Colvin was installed as a director for a three year term. Two visitors from the Jeffersonton Ruritan Club, Kyle M. Peters, jr. and Howard Morris, were welcomed, swell ing the numbef present to 38. Under new business, the names of Llwood Dean and Robert Andrews were added to the membership list.

was an enlightening talk given I on the educational needs ofi the county by guests speaker] Dennis Wingfield, principal ofi Ra ppa ha nnock County High School. A lively question and’ answer period followed the talk. Another guest, the Rev. B.
