of Washington, D. C, were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs William A. Curtis and H. J. Racer. Mrs. Julia Curtis returned home with them after visiting in the Racer home. Mr and Mrs. William Curtis are traveling this week in Kentucky.

Dr. Brooke Moffett of Norfolk was a visitor Saturday of last week of his mother Mrs. Bertie Lib Moffett. Mrs. Charles Burke of Red Bank, N. J. spent the weekend at her home on Blue Ridge Avenue. Mr. and Mrs. Burke will return there to live in about two weeks. Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Keyser were Mr. and Mrs. Albert Slaughter of Leesburg, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Simpson of Luray and Mr and Mrs. John S. Browning of Flint Hill. Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Wood of Sperryville were their guests Saturday evening. Miss Anne Mictarian of R. P. I. was the week-end guest of Miss Carolyn Johnston at her home Qn Gay Street. Both Miss Mictarian and Miss Johnston returned to school on Sunday.

Miss Martha Shillingburg, a student at Smithdeal-Massey Business School in Richmond, spent the week-end with her parents Mr. and Mrs. C. S. Shillingburg.
