Chester Gap
Mrs. Linda Stonebreaker was hostess at a Tupperware party at the Chester Gap fire hall last Monday. There were 12 adults and several children present. Mrs. Marie Stevens of the Winchester Road was the demonstrator. Mrs. Maybelle Gilkey, Mrs. Nora Sealock and Mrs. Iva Williams attended a training meeting for the Home Demonstration Club at Mrs. Lovings’ Antique Shop at Culpeper last Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Williams, Mrs. Maybelle Gilkey and Kelly Jo Gilkey visited their aunts Mrs. Lucy Jett and Mrs. Nettie McNealy in Lowells Fort Valley last Wednesday. On Thursday Mr. and Mrs. Williams visited Mr. and Mrs. Homer Fox near Front Royal. Henry C. Cameron returned to his home last Thursday from Warren Memorial hospital where he had been a patient for a week for treatment.
Mr. and Mrs. Elwood Wines and son of Front Royal visited Mr. Wines’ parents Mr. and Mrs. Albert Wines on Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Dulin and Mrs. Harve Williams were recent visitors of Philip F'incham in tbe Cora Miller Nursing home in Woodstock, where he is doing well. Visitors during the weekend of Mr. and Mrs. David Williams included Mrs. Elsie Frye and Dorothy Owens of Winchester, Darrell Fogle of Strasburg Road, Mrs. Pauline Elphinstone of Washington, D. C., Robert Mattingly of Bethesda, Md. and the Rev. C.P.! Palmore of Front Royal. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Leake' and daughter of Culpeper spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Bradley Williams.
Billy Sealock underwent major surgery in Winchester Memorial Hospital Frlday. His condition is reported as satisfactory. Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Sealock were recent visitors of Mr.i and Mrs. Daniel Mahoney at! the Beef Cattle Research Station.
