Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Fincham of Orange announce the marriage of their daughter Bettye Jane to James Costello, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Costello of Boston. The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Charles Hdward Pruitt at the Willis Chapel Methodist Church, Huntly, Va. on Saturday, February 3. Mr. and Mrs. Costello arc living in Front Royal. Mrs. Costello is employed by the Rappahannock County School Board, Washington, Va. and Mr. Costello is employed by he American Viscose F.M.C. Corp., Front Royal.

It is noted in a Fairfax County publication that Miss Catherine King has recently become Executive Director of programs and services at the “Y" McLean Center as announced by Mrs. Carltonllark rader, Fairfax County YWCA president. Miss King has recently returned to Northern Virginia to live following a distinguished career. Miss King, although born in Ohio, was quoted as saying she considers herself a native Vir| ginian born to Virginians. Her early life was spent in Rappahannock County, being the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Botts of Woodville. Immediately follow ing her graduation from Hollins College, a Psychology Major, she taught high school English in Washington, Va. and served as a Vocational Guidance Director. Her love of the theater led her to direct home talent plays in small cities throughout the states for Universal Producing Company of New York, after which Miss King was Assistant Personnel Director for the Rockefeller Foundation, which post shq left to become a lieutenant in the United States Navy Women’s Reserve, Bureau of Personnel, doing officer class ification, placement, supervision and training of enlisted and officer interviewers.
